'BLINK' is my first non-music related film, and in it, I explore the basic structure of Laban's 'movement sentences:' preparation, initiation, main action, follow through, transition, (repeat). I hope the simplicity of a single action--literally a blink of an eye--contrasted with the collage of sounds featuring paparazzi flashes and radio chatter, creates a commentary on the ‘state of things’ on an everyday, existential, human level.

'A peephole, spyhole, doorhole, magic eye, magic mirror or door viewer, is a small, round opening through a door from which a viewer on the inside of a dwelling may "peek" too see directly outside the door. The lenses are arranged in such a way that viewing is only possible in one direction.'
