Am I Dead is an artistic investigation currently in progress. It is my goal to ask myself and others: am I/ are you dead or alive? and how do you know really and truly? How do we as individuals and culturally define and describe life and legacy, and how is our world shaped by our perception of reality, life, death, and existence? How do we really know for sure that we’re not all living in a dream, or a science fiction style reality, or something else? What science, philosophy, personal beliefs guide us to these conclusions?

'Bad Boy, Billy Corgi!' is a comic zine series released 12.2020. The series follows our hero, Billy Corgi (it's exactly what you think it is...) on his adventures with a cast of mutant corgi/celebrity hybrids Series one features 7 'episodes' which are hand drawn and reproduced by Pamela Maurer.

Pamela Maurer is a multimodal/multimedia artist and designer from Durango, CO, specializing in music, videography, and experiential installations. Her work explores storytelling in 3D. For the past 15+ years, she’s worked in Chicago, IL and throughout the Midwest as a commercial artist: designing/fabricating environments and scenery for Lookingglass Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Harpo Studios, Field Museum, Anthropolgie, Kehoe Designs, etc. Simultaneously, she’s pursued a career as an independent designer, artist, and performer, creating original installations, music, art objects, new media, and music videos, and appearing on over a dozen albums.
